World Wide Star Search was founded in 1998 by a coalition of industry professionals who grew tired of cattle call conventions that focused more on quantity over quality and dry showcases where there is no interaction with the performers.

Performers must pre-qualify for the showcase through a worldwide member affiliate or through one of our nationwide auditions.  Auditions are open to all ages, all ethnicities and all types from around the world. No experience is required but many performers have had previous experience in this field.  Performers are prepared through a series of training sessions both prior and during the event to insure that all talent is qualified to perform for our select panel of VIP industry professionals.

Many of the talent who have attended Worldwide Star Search have moved on to major movies, television shows, modeling campaigns, tv commercials, designer runway shows, Broadway musicals, national tours, international tours and more!  Thousands audition for us every year but only the top 100 are selected from around the world to become tomorrow's stars.
